Who we are

About Us

Edenic Materials is a Vancouver-based sustainable materials company developing plant-based alternatives to everyday products that contribute to pollution, landfill waste, and microplastic contamination. Using hemp and agricultural byproducts, we transform under-utilized waste streams into functional materials such as bio-adhesives, plant-based coatings, natural paints, detergent strips, and experimental hemp-crete building products. Our work blends scientific formulation with small-batch craftsmanship to ensure performance, safety, and environmental responsibility.


Beyond our core offerings, Edenic Materials is constantly innovating and expanding a growing portfolio of natural alternatives. As new agricultural inputs and use-cases emerge, we refine existing products and explore new sustainable applications. We primarily serve B2B customers — including contractors, home renovation firms, artisan businesses, eco-retailers, and small manufacturers — while working closely with local farms and sustainability-focused communities across British Columbia.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help create a healthier environment by rethinking the materials we use every day. Many modern products rely on plastics and synthetic chemicals that persist in landfills, release microplastics, and increase carbon emissions. Edenic Materials exists to replace these materials with plant-based, biodegradable alternatives that reduce environmental harm and support more responsible production systems.


We are committed to lowering carbon footprint and supporting CO₂ sequestration through bio-based materials that store carbon rather than release it. Our values center on reducing end-of-cycle plastics, using sustainable inputs across all products we develop, and designing materials with their full life cycle in mind. Through local sourcing, transparency, and community engagement, we aim to support a circular materials economy that benefits both people and the planet.
